Saving, reopening, and submitting work

Save and reopen the movement worksheet

The movement worksheet runs in your browser. Unsaved answers are lost when you close or reload it.

Opening a file replaces the answers on screen, so save your current answers first.

1. Press “Save worksheet” to download dh-b-movement.json.
2. To continue later, open the worksheet and choose that file under “Open saved worksheet”.

When “Saved answers loaded.” appears, continue with your work.

Save a notebook

Press Ctrl+S (Command+S on macOS) before you stop the notebook. marimo saves the notebook as a .py file in its folder. Keep the data files from the bundle in the same folder.

Record your evidence

Use the evidence record (a text file in Markdown format) for each investigation. Save a copy, fill in the sections, and keep it with your commands and files.

Prepare a submission

1. Check the files listed in the assignment, and the location and deadline in the submissions table.
2. Include your evidence record, the input files used by your commands or notebook, and any notebook or worksheet file.
3. Remove API keys and personal conversations.
